CFK to meet with President Mujica in March
Preparations are being made by Argentina and Uruguay’s Cabinets to hold a meeting for President José Mujica and President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner in Buenos Aires on March 11.
The notification was made by Luis Almagro, Uruguayan Minister for Foreign Relations.
The last meeting with other ministers was in July last year, which took place at the Uruguayan presidential estate in Colonia. This meeting will be preparative meeting for both Presidents.
Almagro explains that, “Uruguay was out of the loop” with regard to meetings with other South American governments, even though meetings with Brazil have taken place, and plans for meetings for meetings with Venezuela are being made. With Argentina plans for meetings were on hold.
The government of Uruguay hopes to continue to have regular official government meetings, every four months.
