'Néstor suffered the most when my Gov't was attacked'

President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner assured “no president has been attacked” the way she is, and added that the crisis of the beginning of her administration had “really affected” her husband, ex President Néstor Kirchner.

“He was very strong, but many things that happened had affected him. I always told him to chill…maybe he did not listen, it doesn’t matter right now,” the Head of State said during a rally in Mar del Plata city.

During her speech, the president vindicated some social measures applied by the government since 2003, asked to “learn to be happy because we are doing well,” and said that the main challenge will be to “honour the strength and conviction Néstor had.”

Fernández de Kirchner headed the inauguration of a Open Digital Television transmission plant in Mar del Plata.
