'Several' people injured from falling ice at Super Bowl site
Several people were injured by falling ice at Cowboys Stadium, the venue for this year's Super Bowl, and all entrances to the venue have been closed except for one, the NFL said.
"The ice and snow melting off of the Cowboys Stadium roof has caused several sliding snow falls onto the plazas. There have been several injuries," said NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy, who did not give details on the severity of the injuries.
"All stadium entrances have been closed except for the truck tunnel, which is away from the building by a very safe distance."
Local media reports have said between five and seven people were injured after sheets of ice and snow slid off the domed roof of the stadium and plunged to the ground as temperatures warmed up after four days of freezing conditions.
