Merval gains 0.2%
The panel of leading stocks index climbed 0.2 percent to 3,640.98 points, while the country-risk decreased to 518 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
Meanwhile, the US dollar traded for $4.04/$3.99 pesos, gained half a cent compared to the previous closing price in the main banks and foreign exchange houses in Buenos Aires downtown.
The main indicator of the Brazilian stock market's average performance Bovespa fell 1.7 percent to 66,688.48 points. It has dropped 3.8 percent so far in 2011.
