Both Argentine, Brazilian private sectors 'facing great challenge,' CFK

Presidents Cristina Fernández de Kirchner (left) and Dilma Rousseff (right).

While attending an official lunch in order to celebrate the visit of Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff, President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner assured that both Argentina and Brazil must “join forces” and ratified that “private sectors from both countries face a great challenge.”

“If we’re able to combine our knowledge and industry, we will be able to become protagonists. This quality is of utmost importance, not only for the future, but for the present as well,” she stated.

Mrs. Fernández de Kirchner insisted that “growth and development can’t ignore the social situation of our people,” while adding that if both countries join forces they could become major protagonists of the 21st century.

“There’s no contradiction between our domestic and foreign trade. There’s no contradiction when the two countries with the largest GDP in the region decide to join forces,” she said.

She assured that the two nations could become key players in the region if they were able to combine their knowledge and industries.
