Garré announces new controls in airports, planes
Security Minister Nilda Garré.
Security Minister Nilda Garré announced the creation of a new protocol for the regulation of the procedure to control airplanes and airports in the framework of the scandal triggered after the arrest of three Argentines who arrived in Barcelona’s airport carrying 944 kilos of cocaine.
According to the official statement, Garré headed the encounter of the Airport Security National Committee, formed by eleven state agencies of the sector.
“We are the State and we can not allow blank spaces in the controls,” the Minister assured during the meeting held at the Security Ministry.
“I’m asking for more severe controls because we have to aspire to the maximum aims, we can’t be benevolent with anyone,” she continued.
