Merval edges down
The panel of leading stocks index edged down 0.9 percent to 3,583.11 points. It has dropped 1.8 percent this week.
The peso-denominated Discount bond dropped 2.3 percent; Boden 2015, 1.2 percent; GDP-warrant, 3.1 percent.
Argentina's country-risk meanwhile soared 9.5 percent to 539 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
The US currency traded for ARS$4.020/ARS$3.98, increasing 0.05 percent compared to the previous closing price in the main banks and foreign exchange houses in Buenos Aires downtown.
The main indicator of the Brazilian stock market's average performance declined 2 percent to 66,697.56 points.
