Merval, Bovespa edge down
The panel of leading stocks index edged down 0.69 percent to 3,616.79 points. It has climbed 3.7 percent so far in 2011.
The Bogar 2018 bond lost 0.17 percent; Boden 2015, 0.38 percent; Bonar 2015, 0.18 percent.
Argentina's country-risk meanwhile declined 0.82 percent to 484 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
The US currency traded for $4.015/$3.975 pesos, remaining unchanged compared to the previous closing price in the main banks and foreign exchange houses in Buenos Aires downtown.
The main indicator of the Brazilian stock market's average performance declined 0.96 percent to 68,050.79 points. It has dropped 1.8 percent so far in 2011.
Meanwhile, the US dollar increased 0.3 percent to R$1.676 on the local spot market.
