Zsa Zsa Gabor out of hospital after leg amputation

Actress Zsa Zsa Gabor has been released from the hospital eight days after she had her right leg amputated, her spokesman said.

Gabor's release from the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Centre in Los Angeles came more than a week ahead of schedule, said her publicist, John Blanchette, who added that doctors were pleased with her progress.

The 93-year-old star of 1950s films "Moulin Rouge" and "Lili," had her leg amputated on Jan. 14 because of a gangrene infection after hip replacement surgery in July.

Blanchette said Gabor's husband, Frederic Prinz von Anhalt, reported that "she has been feisty, yelling at nurses and at him. Everything is back to normal."
