Motorcyclist dies after colliding with a bus in Córdoba province

A motorcyclist has died after crashing into a passenger bus along a main road in the province of Córdoba. The collision, which took place 28km south of Córdoba city, caused many passengers to be injured, who were on the bus during impact. 

The accident occurred at 6.25AM along the provincial main road 5, when a motorcyclist crashed into a Sierras de Calamuchita bus while driving. Rino Candotti, spokesperson for the bus company stated that, “according to the driver, the motorbike crossed in front of the bus, got caught with the bus’ front tyre, producing the bike to flip over and fall down a ditch”.

The identity of the motorcyclist was not announced, however, they died immediately with the impact of the crash. Ten out of the forty-one passengers travelling on the bus came out with minimal injuries, and were attended to by medics at the scene.

Local officials have stated that 24 people’s lives have no been claimed in road accidents in the Córdoba province.
