Merval rises while Bovespa increases
The panel of leading stocks index increased 1.47 percent to 3,613.81 points in the second trading session of the week.
The Bonar 2015 bond gained 0.19 percent; Boden 2014, 1.79 percent; the peso-denominated Par bond increased 0.67 percent.
The US currency traded for $4.01/$3.97 pesos, remains unchanged compared to the previous closing price in the main banks and foreign exchange houses in Buenos Aires downtown.
The main indicator of the Brazilian stock market's average performance increased 0.44 percent to 70,919.75 points.
It has climbed 2.3 percent so far in 2011.
