Four Argentine children die after drowning in Brazil
Four children between 6-11 years old have died after drowning in an artificial lake. The lake is part of a tourist park where the children were playing, and said to have entered the area looking for a place to cool off, before the incident occurred.
The lake was under construction, 20 metres long and 60 metres wide, previously just 30-50cm deep. The depth of the pool increased due to high rainfall, to 2metres deep.
The incident took yesterday evening around 7PM in Dionisio Cerqueira, in the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil- along the Argentina/Brazil border.
