Merval and local bonds rise, Bovespa increases
The panel of leading stocks increased 0.14 percent to 3,54.71 points. It has climbed 1.1 percent so far in 2011.
The peso-denominated Discount bond gained 1.87 percent; Pro13, 0.4 percent; Boden 2015, 0.51 percent; GDP-linked warrant, 1 percent.
Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk fell 0.41 percent to 490 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
The US currency traded for $4.005/$3.97 pesos, remaining unchanged compared to the previous closing price in the main banks and foreign exchange houses in Buenos Aires downtown.
The main indicator of the Brazilian stock market's average performance rose 0.42 percent to 70,423.44 points.
It has increased 1.8 percent so far in 2011.
