Obama says Arizona shooting investigation under way
US President Barack Obama said that US Representative Gabrielle Giffords was battling for her life after she was shot in Arizona and that the motivation for the shooting was not known.
"We don't yet know what provoked this unspeakable act," he told reporters at the White House.
