'Personal speculation' causes Cobos to oppose internal pre-elections, says Sanz
Ernesto Sanz
One of the three pre-candidates of the Radical Party (UCR), Ernesto Sanz, expressed his intentions to promote the idea of having internal pre-elections, “at the end of April or the beginning of May.” Vice-President, Julio Cobos however, opposes the idea due to “personal speculation.”
“The UCR is a political party which has a fresh decision to bring forward the whole process of choosing (referring to the internal pre-elections), because it’s positive for the project: for us, our colleagues and society,” said Sanz.
He further failed to recognise what Cobos’ “motivations” are for opposing the idea, however he also said that he has “no plans for a confrontation,” referring to the candidate choosing process.
