‘CFK is our candidate unless she decides against it,’ Senator Pampuro
“She’s the party’s most important referent in the country, just like (governor) Daniel Scioli is in the Buenos Aires province.”
Mr. Pampuro explained that he’s been in talks with Mr. Scioli to come up with a plan that “sets the in order” in an effort to “revitalize peronism.”
When referring to his party’s goals, he explained that their goal is to “stay close to the people,” and repeated that he members hoping to run for office do so “within the party.”
“We want the primaries to be as clean as possible,” he said, although he acknowledged that “there will be difficulties in certain sectors in the Greater Buenos Aires area when it comes to dealing with the so-called 'colectoras ballot papers' -which stand for town councilor candidates from different political parties featuring deputies or senators candidates from the same political party.
