Argentine podium in Dakar’s third stage
Argentina''s Alejandro Patronelli rides his Yamaha quad through the San Rafael canyon.
Argentines Tomás Maffei, Sebastián Halpern and Alejandro Patronelli, the three of them driving Yamaha’s quads, were the first ones to reach the finish line in the third stage of the Dakar Rally.
Maffei arrived first, followed by Halpern, who came 1 minute and 27 seconds behind, and by Alejandro Patronelli, who came 4 minutes and 23 seconds behind in the race covering the road from Tucumán to Jujuy.
Halpern currently leads the quads division in the Dakar, 12 seconds before Alejandro Patronelli and 1 minute, 12 seconds before Maffei.
