Melting City feels the heat, almost 40° degrees
Buenos Aires City and Greater Buenos Aires are experiencing the hottest day since the beginning of the summer as they're hit by a heat-wave of 34°7 degrees. The windshield factor climbed to 40°3 degrees at noon but has now leveled down to 39°7 degrees.
Cloudless skies and no fresh breezes are part of today’s weather report delivered by the National Meteorological Service (SMN in Spanish).
The SMN has declared “red alert” (high) for the next 24 hours, thus warning of the health risks that high temperatures represent for every age group and not only elderly people (65+ year olders) and new born infants.
