De la Rúa undergoes catheterization procedure

Former President Fernando De la Rúa has been hospitalized at the Instituto del Diagnóstico Clinic in Buenos Aires City, sources said. The ex president underwent a cardiac catheterization procedure and is in good health conditions.

De la Rúa arrived at noon at the clinic along with his wife, Inés Pertiné.

The ex president underwent an angioplasty procedure on June 10, 2001, only months before his abrupt resignation and the beginning of the last political and social crisis the country went through.
