Gov't to declassify SI information on AMIA wiretaps, spies

The Intelligence Secretariat (SI) led by Oscar Parrilli has revealed that the agency will declassify data relating to intelligence personnel implicated in the wiretaps related to the 1994 AMIA bombing investigation.

Hours after lead prosecutor on the case Alberto Nisman was found dead in his Puerto Madero home with a single gunshot to the dead, the agency informed judge María Servini de Cubría that it would arrange "the declassification of the identity, actions, events and circumstances relating to intelligence personnel that arise from the recorded telephone calls."

In the missive, Parrilli emphasised that the declassification was being carried out on "express orders from the President of the Nation," Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.

The letter which the magistrate received today was later divulged to the media.
