US citizen wanted for murder in Pennsylvania arrested in BA city

US citizen identified as Anthony Rocco Franklin, under international warrant for homicide in the US Columbia and Montour counties, has been arrested by Argentinean Federal Police in the streets of Palermo neighbourhood in Buenos Aires city.

Born in Pennsylvania, the 72-year old man was arrested at noon today at Gurruchaga street, in Palermo neighbourhood. He is accused of commiting multiples crimes along with her daughter between October 2009 and July 2012 in the US, including the murder of his ex son-in-law, Frank Spencer.

For Spencer’s death, Franklin’s daughter was arrested last July in the US while her father fleed the country under parole.

Franklin is also accused of breaking and entering to his daugher’s ex husband’s home and stealing some documents before setting the place on fire in 2009.

But according to the US police, that was not the only time he commited arson. In 2010 he reportedly set fire to the home of the girlfriend of his daugher’s ex husband.

The US citizen faces charges in his home country for arson and terrorist threats among other crimes. He also has criminal records for making meth and he himself had confessed working as a paid assassin for the mob.
