President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner has revealed pictures of damaged Sarmiento trains in her Twitter account, supposedly attacked by railway unionists from delegate Rubén Sobrero sector during today’s strike, as denounced earlier by Transport Minister Florencio Randazzo.

Ms. Kirchner confirmed the attack was perpetrated on the newly bought trains, while highlighting each formation cost the state US$1,270,000.

“Have you seen this? Who does this? Workers? I’m speechless,” the President published in both her Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Earlier today, Transport Minister Florencio Randazzo assured the attacks were carried out by railway unionist from Rubén Sobrero’s sector, and said a formal complaint was issued in the N°1 Federal Court in Morón.

Asked about the attacks, dissident CGT head Hugo Moyano, one of the main union leaders in today’s walkout, said he was not aware of the incident and commented it is up to the court to find out who was responsible.
