Micheli's CTA holds rally at Congress

Anti-government CTA labour union and left-wing groups held a rally at Congress.

Anti-government CTA labour union lead by Pablo Micheli and left-wing groups began a 36-hour protest marching along Buenos Aires City downtown and organizing pickets at the City’s main access points.

The protest began at 11 am with road blocks at Pueyrredón bridge, Saavedra bridge, and Constituyentes and General Paz avenue.

Protestors marched through Carlos Pellegrini avenue to gather at the Cabildo building - the historical colonial city hall - and continued to the national Congress to demand lawmakers to sanction a law to suspend layoffs and suspensions for a year.
