Scioli: We have to humanise politics

BA province Governor Daniel Scioli Daniel Scioli has made a plea for a more human, responsible style of politics in Argentina, and also sent a message to lawmaker Martín Insaurralde alluding to the rumours that the politician could switch to Sergio Massa's Renewal Front.

"We have to humanise politics, this idea that in the name of politics it is all or nothing cannot persist. Today I am here, tomorrow I can betray, and go to the other side," the Victory Front politician fired today.

For Scioli, the presidential elections of 2015 will prove that "the people are going to reward responsible behaviour" from candidates.

"Those demagogues who say they have solutions for everything are not going to be rewarded by the people," he underlined.

Scioli also referred to his own hopes of succeeding President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, stating that his experience gave him the necessary skills to take the top job.

"Everything that has happened in my life has been preparing me, with the experience, the brains and the capacity to take on this challenge of taking the presidency," the governor said.
