Bus service to connect Aeroparque with City
Passengers travelling out of Jorge Newbery Metropolitan airport will now have a cheaper mode of transportation to take their flights.
Starting next week, passengers will be able to take the Arbus that will make non-stop runs from key points in the City to the airport that is commonly referred to as Aeroparque for an average of 20 pesos.
The service run by Intercargo, which will be launched on Wednesday at 1pm, will have a 15-bus fleet with a capacity for 35 seated passengers each and will be equipped with Wi-Fi.
The buses will run every 30 minutes although frequency will increase during rush hour.
Passengers will be able to pay for the Arbus with the SUBE card.
Intercargo and its new bus service will thus compete with a service that was dominated by Manuel Tienda León, which charges around 45 pesos for its bus service.
