Harmonicist Franco Luciani and bassist Daniel Maza are well-known performers of Argentine popular music. Starting today, they get together to perform an all-bolero repertoire on harmonica and bass and, for the first time, will add their own vocals. Born in Rosario, Luciani is a multifaceted instrumentalist, composer and harmonica performer. He specializes in Argentine popular music, both rural and urban (folklore, tango), and his versatility allows him to delve into other genres, like jazz, Latin American folk music, jazz and classic.
Montevideo-born Daniel Maza first took up guitar lessons and then turned to the bass.
He relocated to Argentina in the early 80s, when his career really took off at local and international level. An extraordinary musician, singer and bassist, Mazza shared jam sessions with Ray Barreto, Simon Phillips, Djavan, Steve Lukather (Toto), Jeff Andrews and Richie Morales.
