Cabinet Chief to brief the Senate on Wednesday
Originally scheduled for July, the Cabinet Chief’s visit to the Senate, where he is to brief lawmakers, will take place on Wednesday, the chief of ministers Jorge Capitanich himself confirmed.
This will be the third time Capitanich briefs the Senate. The official said the number of times he has visited the Congress is “unprecedented since the 1994 Constitutional reform” and pointed out that he has already answered “3,500 questions” from lawmakers.
He explained that this briefing was originally scheduled for July 30 but had to be postponed due to “winter recess” and the “legislative agenda”.
