'We are working to find the kidnappers'

Security Secretary Sergio Berni.

Security Secretary Sergio Berni said the provincial and City authorities worked together "in a race against the clock" today to ensure the release of the father of Juventus forward Carlos Tevez, Juan Alberto Cabral. “We are working to find those responsible [for the kidnapping],” Berni said in a press conference.

The official confirmed that Cabral was released around 1 p.m. today . “He is in good health,” Berni said, “but still shocked after today’s events”.

Berni used the media impact of this abduction to reiterate the importance of calling 911 in this cases. “We have an anti-kidnapping division working 24/7,” he said.
