CFK spends weekend in Santa Cruz province
President Kirchner travelled to Santa Cruz province, where she will stay for the weekend and analyze briefings on Argentina's delegation meetings with US court-appointed mediator Daniel Pollack in New York.
The Argentine delegation in New York returned today to the country after two meetings with US court-appointed mediator Daniel Pollack, where no resolution was reached.
A few days ahead of the July 30 deadline for Judge Thomas Griesa’s ruling over the Argentine defaulted bonds case to become effective, the President will analyze the delegation's reports of the past New York meetings.
Ms Kirchner left Buenos Aires at 1 pm in the Tango 01 presidential plane to Río Gallegos. She will also visit her son Máximo Kirchner and her grandson Néstor Iván in the Patagonian province, according to an official press release.
During a conference call with Cabinet Chief Jorge Capitanich, CFK insisted on criticizing holdouts for “not investing a single peso in the country.”
“Vulture funds did not invest in the country. Not a single peso. And they pretend to take away millions of dollars from us,” she said.
