Capitanich confirms meeting with CGT's Caló
Following concerns about Argentina's economy voiced by the head of the pro-government CGT labour confederation, the head of ministers confirmed a meeting with Antonio Caló for Monday.
Without providing further details on next week’s gathering, Cabinet Chief Jorge Capitanich said he contacted CGT’s Secretary General Antonio Caló yesterday arranging an “open agenda” for July 21.
On Thursday, Antonio Caló talked with reporters and expressed his concerns about Argentina’s “complicating” economy following mainly the suspensions of 10,000 workers in the metallurgical sector. Caló affirmed he was going to request a meeting with President Cristina Kirchner in order to discuss a “complete agenda.”
