‘Blue’ climbs to 12.20 pesos, US dollar steady at 8.17 pesos
The so-called “blue” dollar went up for the third day in a row today, by 10 cents, to 12.20 pesos in the parallel market. Meanwhile, the US dollar traded unchanged at Buenos Aires City banks and foreign exchange offices and closed at 8.17 pesos.
In the meantime, the blue-chip swap went down 0.02 cents and closed at 10.11 pesos while the stock exchange rate went up to 11.11 pesos.
Yesterday, the Central Bank bought three million dollars, raising its reserves to 29,638 millions.
