Chilean student killed in BA City's Almagro suburb
A female Chilean student was found dead in the lobby of a building where she lived with friends in the Buenos Aires City neighbourhood of Almagro, after receiving at least 10 stab wounds.
According to police, the body of 21-year-old Nicole Cesarego Borquez was found at around 7 am this morning by one of the building’s residents. Police sources revealed that Borquez had gone out dancing with friends, also students, who shared an apartment with the victim in Almagro.
The group went back home and returned earlier than the victim did. She arrived a few minutes later, allegedly hurt. She collapsed in the building’s hall and died of the injures she had received.
The case was being investigated by the Federal Police Homicide Division along with Almagro police having jurisdiction in the area where the murder was registered.
