Following heavy rain, hail, temperatures expected to fall

With temperatures reaching 18 C°, Buenos Aires locals woke up in an atypical July early morning. Heavy rains hit the City’s metropolitan area and the country’s mid-east as hailstone was registered in some neighbourhoods of the Argentine capital and localities of Buenos Aires province.

BA City suburbs affected by hail were Villa Crespo, Caballito, Villa Soldati, Flores and La Paternal. Avellaneda and San Martín were among the localities affected in the province of Buenos Aires.

The National Meteorological Service (SMN) – that had issued a storm alert for the City and the province of Buenos Aires, Entre Ríos, Córdoba and Santa Fe -, said temperatures are expected to fall during the day.
