Cheering Argentina in Rio could cost up to $129 thousand pesos

A snap of an online ad offering a ticket for 129 thousands pesos and reading "Ingreso seguro" (something like "access for certain").

Scalpers seem determined to take advantage on desperate Argentineans seeking for a spot at the Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro where the Albiceleste will face Germany in the World Cup finals on Sunday. Tickets are being offered online for $129 thousand pesos. Fortunately, access to the stadium is “guaranteed.”

In some cases, tickets are published at $75 thousand pesos but fans must get them in Rio meaning chances are you make all the way to the Brazilian City - many Argentineans are traveling by car - and you might just finish with your hands (and pockets) empty. Still, scalpers guarantee possible buyers access to the Maracana is also "guaranteed."

According to official information, FIFA sold 8.7 percent of tickets to Argentina’s fans while 8.1 percent has been acquired by Germans. Brazilians got 48 percent, Spaniards 5.6 percent, English 5.3 percent and US Americans 4.5 percent.
