Nuñez Carmona appeals indictment
Entrepreneur and alleged close friend of Vice President Amado Boudou, José María Nuñez Carmona has appealed an indictment ruling by Federal Judge Ariel Lijo, involving him in the Ciccone corruption case.
Lawyers Ramiro y Darío Rubinska presented a written note today in which their client Nuñez Carmona questions the indictment, accusing Judge Lijo of “distorting” evidence to disservice him.
Aligned with recent statements by the VP, Nuñez Carmona’s defence team criticized Lijo for not investigating the so called “money route” in the purchase of the Ciccone Calcográfica company, in charge of printing Argentina’s peso currency by the time Boudou was economy minister.
