‘Now we have to give everything to win the cup’

Argentine coach Sabella during the game.

Argentine coach Alejandro Sabella assured he “suffered a great deal” during the win against the Netherlands by penalty kicks and said the team will have to "give everything" in the field in the final at Maracaná against Germany.

“We suffered a great deal, but that’s normal in these kind of matches,” Sabella told reporters after Argentina beat Netherlands 4-2 by penalties following a 0-0 draw.

“Pachorra” said the main objective of the tournament was reached, as the Albiceleste will play the final match after 24 years. In Italy 1990 Argentina also faced Germany in the last game.

“Now we have to give everything to win the cup,” Sabella concluded while saying he feels proud of the humility and work ethics of his players.
