ProCreAuto seeks 700,000-unit production goal
Cabinet Chief Jorge Capitanich praised the new credit scheme for buying new cars unveiled yesterday by the President, saying it will “stimulate production levels to reach the goal of 700,000 units”.
In his daily press briefing at Government House, Capitanich pointed out that the plan, Pro Cre Auto, “seeks to encourage price reductions in 26 car models by 3% to 13%, with a production goal for the next 12 months set on 700,000 units”.
The Kirchnerite official also referred to the auto deal reached with Brazil. Capitanich said it will “boost market shares by 8% to 11% and encourage 2015/2020 negotiations on the integration of the automobile industry”.
Capitanich pledged the government’s commitment to “job sustainability and the share of local components in order to guarantee production levels”.
