'Blue’ dollar up to 12.30 pesos, official unchanged
After climbing as high as 30 cents earlier today, the so-called “blue” dollar closed at 12.30 pesos, 10 cents up from yesterday's closing change rate.
The result didn't reflect on the Argentina offering to negotiate with holdouts. The meeting between NY judge Thomas Griesa and Argentine lawyers ended after the "blue" dollar, which has hit a 65-cent hike over the week, closed in Buenos Aires.
Meanwhile, the stock exchange dollar rate went down to 11.53 pesos.
In the official exchange market, the US dollar closed unchanged in Buenos Aires City banks and foreign exchange offices at 8.15 pesos.
