Argentine men take bronze in Hockey WC

The Argentine mens' hockey team beat England 2-0 to win today's World Cup bronze-medal match in The Hague, Netherlands, while the hosts went down in the final to Australia.

Two goals from Matías Paredes in the second half gave the Leones victory against their opponents. England fired five shots on target, but could not find a way through and slumped to defeat in the clash.

In the final, meanwhile, Australia recovered from an early Dutch goal to destroy the hosts, who finished 6-1 down against the Southern Hemisphere side.
