Argentina arrive in Río de Janeiro
The Albiceleste side arrived today in Río de Janeiro, where they will play against Bosnia on Sunday, in the opening match of Group F.
The charter flight that carried the squad landed at 7.40 pm on a military air base near Galeao International Airport.
An official bus then transported the team to the Sheraton Hotel in the luxurious Leblon neighborhood that will serve as bunker in Río.
The team was welcomed by dozens of fans wearing Argentina shirts and waving albiceleste flags.
Defender Ezequiel Garay was the first to get off the plain, while forward Lionel Messi and coach Alejandro Sabella came out last.
Argentina will remain in the hotel until tomorrow at 6.15 pm, when they will travel to Maracaná stadium, where they will play Bosnia.
An hour earlier, Sabella will hold his first press conference since he arrived in Brazil.
4-3-3 or 5-3-2?
Today, on its last training in Belo Horizonte before the match against Bosnia, coach Sabella tried yet another formation with the starting team.
Higuaín didn´t play, but Lavezzy didn’t either, as the former Estudiantes coach tried a two-man offensive line with Messi and Aguero, and included a 5-men defense.
Argentina used a similar tactic when they played a friendly match with Bosnia on November 2013, with Palacio instead of Messi, and won 2-0.
