US dollar ends steady at 8.145 pesos
The US dollar today ended steady at 8.145 pesos in banks and exchange offices of Buenos Aires after rising one cent.
Exporters have showed greater intervention in the exchange market after the Central Bank allowed a two cents rise last Thursday.
Meanwhile, in the informal market, the so called "blue" dollar remained steady at 11.55 pesos.
The Central Bank, meanwhile, made its highest dollar purchase of the current month, buying US$150m over the course of the trading day. That move helped push foreign reserves up 137m dollars, finishing the day with stocks of US$28.78bn.
