Forster's appointment a 'mock to intelligence'
Such were the statements by Gerardo Milman, member of the GEN party and director representing the opposition at the AFSCA media watchdog.
“A mock to intelligence,” Milman responded today when reporters queried him about the appointment of pro-government philosopher Ricardo Forster as Secretary of the Strategic Coordination for the National Thinking office that will work under the scope of the newly created Ministry of Culture run by singer and human rights activist Teresa Parodi.
“The post looks like that of the Vice Ministry of Supreme Happiness in Venezuela,” Milman added, alluding to the Deputy Ministry for the Supreme Social Happiness created by Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro last year.
“Thinking is built upon ideas and ideas have no (political) flags,” the GEN figure said.
