Capitanich on Gestamp conflict: ‘Plant occupation is inadmissible’

In his daily press briefing, Cabinet Chief Jorge Capitanich called for an “immediate solution” to the labour conflict in Gestamp auto parts factory and said the occupation of the plant by workers as “inadmissible.”

“We cannot accept the illegal occupation of the plant that prevent workers from doing their jobs,” Capitanich said and criticised the existence of “political or illegal decisions that keep the industry from working or the rest of the workers from doing their jobs.”

The Kirchnerite official pointed out the responsibility of Buenos Aires province Judiciary and Executive authorities in the dispute and called for actions that guarantee “the company’s operations.”
