Argentine riders begin tour

Six Argentine riders will begin an international tour, sponsored by the Argentine Equestrian Federation, on June 6 at Arnehm, Holland, as preparation for the World Equestrian Games (WEG) next September in France.

Luis Biraben, Martín Dopazo, Martín Moschini and Alexis Trosch, together with José Larocca, Jr. who resides in Switzerland, and Ramiro Quintana, who lives in the US, will take part at eight international shows in the Netherlands, Hungary, Spain and Holland.

Martín Mallo will serve as chef d’equipe for the Nations Cup classes at Budapest, Hungary (July 2 to 6) and Gijón, Spain (July 30 to August 4).

Afterwards, team trainer and selector Bert Romp will choose four riders for the Argentine national show jumping team to compete at the WEG in Normandy, France from September 2 to the 7.
