'VP Boudou is at Justice disposal'

Vice President Amado Boudou (L) and Cabinet Chief Jorge Capitanich (R) during a government rally.

The head of ministers said Amado Boudou “has always expressed his will to comply with all judicial requests” following the news that the vice president has been summoned for inquiry by Federal Judge Ariel Lijo.

“The vice president has always expressed his will to comply with all judicial requests facing any eventual summons by a judge of the Republic, so he is as he has always been at the disposal of Justice,” Capitanich said while addressing reporters at the government house this morning.

The Judicial Information Center (CIJ) confirmed today that Judge Lijo investigating alleged irregularities in the purchase of the Ciccone Calcográfica print company, summoned Vice President Amado Boudou for inquiry.

Boudou will have to show at the Comodory Py Courthouse on July 15.
