Judge Lijo summons VP Amado Boudou for inquiry in Ciccone case
Vice President Amado Boudou has been summoned for a grilling by Federal Judge Ariel Lijo as part of the investigation that seeks to probe alleged irregularities in the sale of the Ciccone Calcográfica print and mint company.
According to the Center of Judicial Information (CIJ), Cristina Fernández de Kirchner’s second-in-command will have to attend the Comodoro Py Courthouse on July 15 at around 11 am.
Judge Lijo has also summoned José María Núñez Carmona, Rafael Resnick Brenner, Alejandro Vandenbroele, Guillermo Reinwick and Nicolás Ciccone.
The Ciccone Calcográfica company was purchased by The Old Fund owned by lawyer Alejandro Vandenbroele, after the company's bankruptcy case was lifted. The Ciccone firm was granted with a payment facility plan by the AFIP tax bureau in which VP Boudou had allegedly taken part in.
