INDEC: Supermarket sales up 43%, shopping centres 41%

Supermarket sales in April increased 43 percent compared to the same period last year, while shopping centres saw revenues grow by 41 percent, according to figures released by the National Statistics and Census Institute (INDEC).

The data, however, shows a fall of 3.4 percent when compared to supermarket sales in March of the current year. Shopping centre sales also dropped, by 2.5 percent on the previous month.
