Radical Party MP Julio Cobos will officially become a presidential candidate when he launches his pre-election campaign ahead of the 2015 run.

The ex vice president during President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner’s first administration will be presiding over a rally at the Boxing Federation, located in the Buenos Aires City neighbourhood of Almagro. The event has been scheduled for 7 pm.

Meanwhile, Cobos – one of the leaders of the FAU coalition shaped up by opposition figures such as Ernesto Sanz (Radical Party), Hemes Binner (Socialist Party), Elisa Carrió (Civic Coalition) and Fernando “Pino” Solanas (Unen Alliance) -, will be visiting tomorrow the Buenos Aires province locality of Luján as part of his campaign events. The candidate to run for president under the FAU ballot will be decided in next year's PASO primaries, months ahead of the final general election.
