CFK to kick off centre for railway monitoring
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner will be inaugurating this afternoon a train monitoring centre in the Buenos Aires City neighbourhood of Retiro.
The activity is expected to start at 5 pm. The head of state will be joined by Interior and Transport Minister Florencio Radazzo who also escorted CFK in last week’s rally when the president presented new train cars the government purchased from China.
The newly created centre will allow controlling maximum speed limits, the proximity between carriages and the train system’s frequency, Randazzo’s office said.
