'Blue' dollar jumps to 11.75 pesos
The so called “blue” dollar that trades in the informal market today climbed 25 cents to 11.65 pesos for buyers and 11.75 pesos for sellers, pushed by the blue-chip swap dollar and the stock exchange dollar rates which traded at 11.05 pesos and 11.38 pesos respectively.
In Buenos Aires City banks and main foreign exchange offices, meanwhile, the American currency closed half a cent higher at 8.035 pesos (buying price) and 8.085 pesos (selling price).
